Perhaps I’m a little behind on this news (I blame Christmas). I read the book years ago and am eager to see Director Peter Jackson bring this tale to life, because honestly – the cartoon version freaks me out.

After all of the summer blockbusters we are being bombarded with, I have to admit I find slow-paced movies lacking in CGI and special effects refreshing. I state this, as my husband and I try to coordinate when we are going to see The Green Lantern next weekend.
